The next exam is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2008...start planning now for the Fall 2008 exam on November 19th! Applications must be received by Friday, October 3, 2008.

New Winter-Spring Training Schedule Released

In January, 2006, the Maine DEP transferred all of the administrative duties for Maine’s Wastewater Operator Certification program to JETCC. These duties include coordinating certificate renewal, record keeping, and applications for Maine’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator exams offered each May and November. Eligibility of training courses for continuing education credit must still be issued by Maine DEP at dick.darling@maine.gov. Proof of participation in training courses should be submitted directly to JETCC.

Applications for the exam are due in the JETCC office by Friday, March 28, 2008. They should be postmarked, by Monday, March 24, 2008.
